Ambokili Farm’s journey began with a simple yet powerful vision: To transform a desolate landscape into a thriving ecosystem through organic farming. The farm has achieved remarkable progress. Once devoid of vegetation, the land now boasts a 300% increase in biodiversity and we have transformed over 9 acres of wasteland into green land. To achieve this, we had the help of 28 employees. Poverty thrives where opportunities are scarce. At Ambokili Farm, we believe in creating pathways to prosperity through meaningful employment. Most of the casual workers living in the area were overworked, subjected to unfair wages and worked in harsh weather conditions under the hot sun. The Farm’s establishment ushered in a new era. We created 28 jobs, pay fair wages, and adhere to county wage laws. Ambokili Farm is not just putting food on the table but also putting dignity back into the hands of the community. From field workers to administrative staff, every individual plays a vital role in the Farm’s journey towards sustainability and poverty eradication. We have become a catalyst for change.
